What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
My inspiration for this book was a story my mother told me about a stranger stopping to help her when her car broke down. She had a very strong intuitive feeling that he was not to be trusted. A few months later his photo was in the newspaper and he was revealed to be a killer.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
My characters were inspired by the type of people I most fear coming in contact with the most vulnerable. I wanted my hero to start out weak and grow strong within herself to save not only her own life, but her son's.
