What was your inspiration for this book?
I've always loved ancient Egypt, but hated the depiction of Anubis as a bad guy. After all, he was the one who would escort those who had died to Ma'at, and the afterlife, so they wouldn't have to go on alone.
Why did you decide to produce an audiobook?
Everyone should be able to enjoy a book, whether visually impaired, or on a long trip, or a busy parent doing chores.
How did you choose the reader for the book and the production company?
I auditioned a lot of readers to find the right one – an earlier attempt had been unsuccessful
