What was your inspiration for this book?
I was inspired to write this book when I saw a woman feeding a cat in the local park. In our conversation, she told me she was grateful for the cat because it gave her a reason to come out each day after her husband passed away. From there I imagined other possibilities and characters and the story grew from there.
Why did you decide to produce an audiobook?
I love audiobooks and wanted to learn how to produce one.
How did you choose the reader for the book and the production company?
A friend of mine told me about Findaway Voices. When I connected with them I found them very easy to work with. They provided me a selection of narrators and after listening to them I chose Susan Fouche because I liked her reading style.
