What was your inspiration for this book?
As a dating coach I hear from a lot of people complaining about having too many bad or awkward "first dates" or not enough "second dates" even when they believe the first date went well.
Dating is supposed to be a fun sociable activity! This is especially true of a "first date".
The purpose of a first date is to find out how compatible you are and to determine if there is any chemistry between you. If either person feels as if they did not have a good time after the first date, then most likely there will not be a second date
I wrote "Pump Your Brakes! How To Stop Having Bad First Dates" as guide to help readers and listeners to increase their odds of having great "first dates" and more importantly increase their odds of getting second dates.
Why did you decide to produce an audiobook?
These are busy times we live in and a lot of people simply do not have time to sit down and read books. Audiobooks is a great alternative for those who are multitasking.
How did you choose the reader for the book and the production company?
I did some research on best selling audiobooks in the dating and relationship genre on Amazon and listened to samples. When I found a voice I felt fit the tone of my book I looked the narrator up on ACX.com and reached out to him to see if he might be interested and available.
If you have listened to this book let us know what you think in the comments. We’d love to hear from you!
