What was your inspiration for this book?
This book is a dramatization of a real California Appellate legal case, Giles v. McDaniel.
Why did you decide to produce an audiobook?
I knew that readers who are listeners would enjoy it, especially the dramatic courtroom trial.
How did you choose the reader for the book and the production company?
I built my own sound studio and learned how to record and master the project. It took years, was very interesting and rewarding. I hope my listeners find the audiobook as rewarding and interesting as I did audiotaping and mastering it. I have acted and studied acting intensely since I was twelve years old and am a member of Actors' Equity for stage acting and SAG-AFTRA for film and television. In addition, legal terms are specialized and hard to pronounce correctly–so I just thought it would be a better product.
