What was your inspiration for this book?
I just had this vision of a trial, an innocent woman, a warrior, being tried not because of what she'd done, but who she was and the elf who tried to stop it.

Why did you decide to produce an audiobook?
I love audio. I'd done one, but the narrator wasn't a good fit. After a few years, I tried again. The narrator this time was brilliant, giving each character their own voice. He was so good, I had him do this series, too.

How did you choose the reader for the book and the production company?
The narrator was brilliant, giving each character their own voice, and Audible made it so easy.
