What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
Since I had written books one and two of "A Clara and Iris Mystery" stand-alone, so many of my reader fans were raving about these two old retired and widowed 70s-something women, who are a HOOT together that I had to give my fans a new "Clara and Iris!"

As gripping and suspenseful as this new mystery read is, there are still some "dashes" of sleuth/humor between these two main characters within this new mystery. Clara and Iris are based on two women who were my mother's best friends in real life years ago.

How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
I became widely known for my vibrant characters of Clara and Iris, a couple of overly curious widows who turn into private investigators. Again, these funny women were inspired by my mother and her mom's best friends. Book one of this series, 'Sweet Dreams, Baby Belle' introduces these two characters, but, book two of 'Murder Among The Tombstones' is where I share them within their first murder mystery case. From there, their popularity grew!
