What was your inspiration for this book?
Khe popped into my mind fully formed–bald with red skin and living in a commune on another world. I knew the first quarter of the book immediately. The rest I had to figure out.

Why did you decide to produce an audiobook?
I'm an audiobook lover. After staring at a screen all day, plugging in my earbuds, closing my eyes, and entering a new world is bliss. I thought people like me might enjoy an audio version of this story.

How did you choose the reader for the book and the production company?
I put the book up for narrator audions on ACX, the audiobook arm of Amazon and was literally flooded with audions. Angel seemed to have a good feel for the world and characters.
