The consequences of that night seal Elise’s fate, and set her on a path that will lead to heartbreak and tragedy.

What was your inspiration for this book?
The Lovers was inspired by an article I'd come across about a medieval Italian couple who was buried together, their limbs still intertwined as if they'd died while holding each other. I love archeology and history and thought it would be fun to write a series about a psychic archeologist who not only uses her knowledge and expertise to determine what had befallen the victims, but also to see into the past and discover what had actually happened to the people whose lives she's investigating.
Why did you decide to produce an audiobook?
Audiobooks are becoming more popular and producing one is the natural next step to publishing a digital copy as well as a paperback.
How did you choose the reader for the book and the production company?
I had posted my listing on ACX and had received many auditions, but as soon as I heard Wendy Wolfson's audition, there was no one else for me.
